Butterfly Girls in a Butterfly (Decoupage) Picture Frame

Two good friends, playing dressing up, captured in these darling photos and displayed in our homemade butterfly decoupage picture frame (a great rainy day project!).

We wrapped it up with a typed and handwritten note written and decorated by our three-year old.

A sweet present from one little girl to another, made with love.

The Spritzer Leyba's are Carrie Spritzer, David Leyba and our three-year old daughter "Miss Leyba." Even though we have different last names, yes, we're actually married. (Spritzer Leyba is a mouthful, isn't it?!)

As a family, we try to spend quality time together cooking our meals from scratch, reading (sometimes to lull a certain toddler to sleep), victory gardening, trying new things, learning and growing from everyday experiences, playing, making music, spending time outdoors, exercising, talking. Oh, how the girls like to talk.

We love hanging with friends too and feel thankful for the wonderful community we've found here in our sleepy country town in the heart of California's wine country, 3,000 miles from where David and I grew up on the East Coast.
