THE Haircut

March 12th, 2010

We’ve been putting off her first real haircut for some time now.

Both David and I just adored her curls, but they have been so hard to take care of! Easily knotted and such a flyaway mess.

This is definitely more neat and tidy.

And grown up.

Even if I forgot to comb her hair before taking these pictures. Whoops.

Besides, she has two curls left, so I can’t really feel sad that they are all gone.

Those lovely curls appear to be untameable…

  2. Adorable! Love the wee baby curl hanging on… Max’s hair was so curly before he got his first cut and afterwards the hair just grew like a weed. The cut must have jump started something. Unfortunately, the baby curls disappeared.

  3. We still haven’t cut Olivia’s hair. I don’t want the curls to go away!

  4. I love it, she is so adorable in the new cut, can’t wait to see her live. I cut my son’s hair today also.

  5. Soooo cute! I love the 1920s look! :) She just needs an adorable cloche hat with a flower one it!

(And somehow in the 4th picture she looks alot like Laura when she was a baby. . .)

  7. Adorable! And Miss Leyba still has curls above her ears :-) Except for my girls’ bangs, we are nowhere near a first haircut…
