“Sing!” with blackberries

September 16th, 2009

Remember Miss Leyba enjoying blackberries and ruining that cute white ruffled shirt? Well, I took a movie that day of her singing the “Happy Not Sad Song,” Miss Leyba’s version of that popular Sesame Street song “Sing.”

Want to see Nathan Lane’s version of this song? Here you go:

I love Miss Leyba’s rendition. She’s got that special something…

  4. That is absolutely priceless! I love the combo of her singing “Happyyyyyy…not sad” while squashing blackberries into her mouth and totally turning her shirt the color of berry juice. She totally is happy, not sad!

  7. “Sing! Happy…sad…haaaaaaaaaa.” She’s got those lyrics down. :) But she really cracks me up with that “haaaaaaa” part: it’s exactly what singing looks and feels like! What a smarty. (Hey, can you film her singing ‘Where is Thumbkin’ with her grandma on Skype?? That was so fun!)
