Yummy ice cream

On Saturday we took Miss Leyba to try her first ice cream.

(That was our cover story and we’re sticking to it!)

Initially she hated the experience of eating the ice cream, but loved the taste:

Check out that yucky face! We think she didn’t like the cold ice cream on her teeth.

Before we knew it she figured out how to LICK the ice cream instead of bite it and she was quickly all covered in chocolate:

We had so much fun eating ice cream together that we went back AGAIN today to have a little more.

We’re either the best parents ever or we totally suck.

that’s totally the “raisin face”! (the face you make when you think you’re getting a chocolate chip cookie and it turns out to be a raisin one.) love the chocolate *up* the nose.

I love it! At first she’s all, “AUUUUGH…WHAT are Mom and Dad trying to DO to me?!” and in the next picture she’s a grinning little sugar munchkin who has learned the art of slurping her ice cream and is very pleased with herself…and with the chocolate! YUM.

Ok, I finally got Internet at home and we watched the video last night….oh her expression is priceless! We loved it….and CANT wait to meet her in 2 months!!
