On Friday we went on a play date to our friend Tiffany’s house. Miss Leyba was so enamored with their dogs (and Tiffany’s daughter who turns one next month!).
Miss Leyba pointed out the window and laughed for about 5 minutes while Gus jumped around in the back yard. Who knew a dog jumping could be so funny?

The Spritzer Leyba's are Carrie Spritzer, David Leyba and our three-year old daughter "Miss Leyba." Even though we have different last names, yes, we're actually married. (Spritzer Leyba is a mouthful, isn't it?!)
As a family, we try to spend quality time together cooking our meals from scratch, reading (sometimes to lull a certain toddler to sleep), victory gardening, trying new things, learning and growing from everyday experiences, playing, making music, spending time outdoors, exercising, talking. Oh, how the girls like to talk.
We love hanging with friends too and feel thankful for the wonderful community we've found here in our sleepy country town in the heart of California's wine country, 3,000 miles from where David and I grew up on the East Coast.
