but clearly she is David’s daughter.
This shot of David is from November of 1980 when he was around 5 months old (versus Miss Leyba at almost 3 months on the left). Super cute!
(Sorry for reposting this picture of our daughter. I like how it’s taken at a similar angle to David’s shot for comparison purposes.)
I’m trying to track down my baby pictures. They are in a box somewhere in our spare bedroom. Those of you who have visited can attest to the fact that it could take a very long time for me to find them. Hopefully I will track them down soon.

YES! I think she has my eyes and it makes me feel so good. At least I am there somewhere! ;) A friend talks about how much babies change as they grow and how interesting it is to see pieces of grandparents and parents and siblings in them during the process. I am looking forward to seeing what other pieces of me are buried in there.

Wow, I completely agree–I was going to say that I see Carrie in Miss Leyba’s eyes, but I see other folks have noticed it, too! It must be so much fun to watch her grow and change and to see each other (and each other’s families) in her.
