We so enjoyed our girls road trip through Northern California up to Oregon to visit my aunt.
We’re now in recovery mode, so we’re taking the rest of the week off from the blog. We’ll see you next week when we’re feeling more rested!

The Spritzer Leyba's are Carrie Spritzer, David Leyba and our three-year old daughter "Miss Leyba." Even though we have different last names, yes, we're actually married. (Spritzer Leyba is a mouthful, isn't it?!)
As a family, we try to spend quality time together cooking our meals from scratch, reading (sometimes to lull a certain toddler to sleep), victory gardening, trying new things, learning and growing from everyday experiences, playing, making music, spending time outdoors, exercising, talking. Oh, how the girls like to talk.
We love hanging with friends too and feel thankful for the wonderful community we've found here in our sleepy country town in the heart of California's wine country, 3,000 miles from where David and I grew up on the East Coast.

Hee hee – and Julia, look how big this girl is now! (I also took your cue and gave her the plastic laundry basket to play with – it was a ‘bathtub’ for the dolls when Ms. Leyba wasn’t sitting in it herself. You loved playing in the laundry basket at that age!)
