We have a very similar picture of you!!
So thrilled to hear about your reading in bed routine ~ you’ve both been such fantastic role models of book lovers for Miss Leyba — she is soo lucky to have parents who love to read to and with her. Her librarian grandmother is so proud and happy that Miss Leyba loves books!!

You grab a set of books (and/or cards) that you want to read together. You hop into bed, pulling me along. Set up pillows against the wall so we are laying across the bed sideways, next to each other. You pull up the blankets, then we start reading. Sometimes you give me a book to read to you. Sometimes you read your own book and hand me one of your books to read on my own. One of your favorites is still The Carrot Seed.

This usually lasts for about a half hour to 45 minutes and ends with you jumping up and down on the bed as you try to fight off sleep.

This is one of my favorite times of the day that Mom forgot to mention in the letter above.
