And the commercials for the later episodes have bothered me because they seem to be doing all the cliche plot devices–“The bad guy is really my father” or “Now it’s time to have a baby,” or “You killed/abducted my sister!” Since I’ve seen all those episodes in both X-Files and Star Wars, I’ve hesitated to watch more Alias.

Oh, and an update on my Wheel of Time rant from earlier. I checked out the prequel book from the library. I had refused to pay for it because the whole series was pissing me off, and I saw the prequel as a punt. But, I’m embarassed to admit, I liked it. More plot than the recent books, and characters I liked better. So I’m even more embarassed to admit that I ordered the 11th installment from Amazon. I’m a loser.
