Puzzle Addict

I already know that my biggest hurdle as a parent will be to keep Miss Leyba challenged. At two years old, she already speaks in full sentences, shows a strong interest in learning to read right now, and loves her puzzles. Not little 4 or 12 piece puzzles.

16, 24, 35, 63… 100 piece puzzles!

You know, the ones that say 6 years and up on the side:

I should make a movie so you can see her at work. After all, you may need documented proof of her in action to believe me. She’s truly amazing.

And she knows it.

I do think she’s also screaming, “Mom, come on! Challenge me already!”

  1. If you want to send her to me, Joel bought me a 3,000 piece puzzle for Chanukah this year, which I still haven’t managed to finish! I could use the help. :)

  2. These photos are awesome!! Love your new equipment! Love that Miss Leyba so enjoys puzzles…I do too and so did her great-grandfather! We used to ‘puz’ together alot! She IS awesome!

  3. So many skills go into working through a puzzle and Miss Leyba has them ALL (several years early) plus flair! What a star!!

  4. WOW! Definately post up a time lapse video – it’s so amazing to see their little minds at work. Jasper would just eat the puzzle pieces. He does know all the Planets though and seems to consume information about the Solar System at an alarming rate.
