Carrie -

So I cook for part of my living now! I have 2 main clients: families with f/t working parents (one the mom is divorced) who want their families to be eating healthy whole foods but don't have the time to cook them. This was not my idea, it just sort of evolved from the childcare/eldercare flier I created to advertise my services (on the flier I mentioned I was a good cook, and they approached me with this need). I've been sick a lot lately so I haven't pursued additional clients but as soon I feel back to my normal self I will do so.

Anyhow, if you ever want to exchange favorite recipes, I would be up for that!

Off the top of my head cashew-carrot patties and samosa logs come to mind as two favorites I have made. If you're interested let me know.

Much love,

AvIvA

PS - My mom has been doing photo shows lately (she's a photographer but had been concentrating mainly on graphic design) and she's going nuts framing. She found some posterboard she wanted to use and it was the thing everyone signed on my Bat Mitzvah saying mazel tov, etc. You wrote on there "thanks for asking me to do an aliyah" - I had totally forgotten that you did one at my Bat Mitzvah! I just thought that was cool to find and really sweet. I remember thinking very highly of you when we were younger, admiring your creativity and intelligence. Well, that certainly hasn't changed. Anyhow, I'm glad we got back in touch.
